2026 October President report
Hello fellow ASPE LA members,
I hope this message finds you well.
Please note that our October Chapter meeting will be held on October 7, rather than October 14. The reason for this schedule adjustment is that our ASPE LA Chapter delegates will be returning from the 2026 ASPE Convention on October 14 and most likely will not be able to attend that evening. As a reminder, the 2026 ASPE Convention will take place in Oklahoma City from October 8 through October 14.
The ASPE Los Angeles and Orange County Chapters Joint Heat Pump Seminar with Mr. Saum Nour is a great success. The event brings together nearly 100 designers and approximately 60 affiliates, creating a strong turnout and valuable opportunity for education, collaboration, and industry networking. We sincerely thank all participants for taking the time to attend and support this important Chapter event. We would also like to extend a special thank you to our affiliates for their continued support, participation, and commitment to the ASPE community. Their involvement helps make these educational events possible and strengthens the connection between our designers, manufacturers, representatives, and industry partners. We hope everyone was able to learn some of the nuances of heat pump sizing and benefit from the discussion of flow diagrams, system approaches, and practical design considerations. Special appreciation goes to Thura Zin and the entire committee for their dedication, coordination, and hard work in making this seminar possible.
Looking ahead, we are excited to invite everyone to our upcoming ASPE LA Chapter picnic, which will take place on October 17 at San Dimas Canyon Park. This will be a free event for ASPE members and friends, and it will be a wonderful opportunity for members, families, affiliates, and industry friends to come together in a relaxed setting, enjoy good company, and continue strengthening the connections that make our Chapter community so special. Our 2026 ASPE Convention delegates will be back on October 14, and most of them are expected to be present at the picnic. Therefore, this will also be a good opportunity to check in with them for any Society updates and hear about key takeaways from the Convention. We look forward to seeing everyone there and encourage you to join us for a fun and memorable day.
